Andrew Hill is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist who has been in private practice after getting his Master’s in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2008 and his massage training from the East West College of the Healing Arts in 2005. He specializes in the treatment of muscular-skeletal injuries, chronic pain, and lifestyle issues using a combination of acupuncture, massage (Swedish, Tuina, & Shiatsu), targeted stretching, and cupping. A lifetime interest in athletics and fitness has led to deep understanding of muscular anatomy and function, especially when it comes to both the cause and treatment of sports-related injuries. Having practiced yoga for over 14 years, Pilates for 10 years, decades of running and biking, as well as martial arts and weight training, he has suffered and recovered from most common athletic complaints, giving him first hand experience in speeding the recovery process and getting people back to what they love as quickly as possible.
Andrew has been an official acupuncturist of PSU Athletics since 2008, furthering his experience in the treatment of sports-related injuries as well as seeing how to prevent their recurrence.
He also teaches continuing education courses on cupping and Gua Sha at East West College of the Healing Arts as well as offering chair massages at events and conventions.
In 2013, Andrew was named the Portland Mercury’s Best Massage Therapist.
